Ham and Brie Baguette

**This recipe was featured as part of our 2022 New Release Wine & Food Pairings.**

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 baguette
  • 16 oz of ham of your preference
  • 2 tablespoons of brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of arugula pesto aioli (recipe to follow)
  • 8 Castelvetrano olives
  • 8 skewers

For the aioli

  • 3 tablespoons of mayo
  • 1 cup of arugula
  • ½ cup of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a food processor mix walnuts and arugula and add slowly the olive oil.
  2. Add mayo and salt until all blended.
  3. Make the sandwiches with the baguette and cut it in 2 inches pieces.
  4. Put the olives on top of each sandwich using the skewers.

Serves: 8 mini sandwiches. You can make 3-4 baguettes with this much pesto.
